Get them both. As you get further into this you will need more than one mug anyway. As for preference, I like the bottom one better.

The are both great looking IMHO. If I had to choose, I would pick the top one. I like the aesthetic of the design and colour.

My vote is for the bottom one. If I were the one buying, I would enjoy the color contrast between the dark brown mug and the rich white lather.

+1 I just got one of the Georgetown Pottery seconds and it is awesome! Like someone else said, if this is a second I would be fired if I worked in their quality control! I can't find a flaw anywhere!! By the way, they have both of those colors, Hamada and Hamada/Blue!
