Shavemac #25 silvertip

Is this brush good on both soaps and creams? Shavemac #25 26mm Silver Tip Badger Shaving Brush. I am also interested in the Omega 10098 Professional Boar Bristle Shaving Brush -L. It is listed as a shave brush, but it looks like a neck duster.

My current brushes are a old burma shave, a vulfix vs/1, vulfix 404 boar/badger combo, and a vulfix 660 super.

My most used soaps and creams are Proraso, Cella, Tabac, Klar Kabinett, AOS, TOBS Rose, and ARKO shave sticks made into a super puck. Not to mention the ten other soaps and creams I have. Oh yeah, and that 1kilo of p.160.

Never used the 25 specifically but I have 227 in Silvertip and it's wonderful. The hair is packed quite densely and the bulb shape gives it lots of backbone. Mine is a couple mm larger but I'm sure the 26mm would be a beautiful brush and yield great results.

I face lather hard soaps, FYI.

I too am looking into the Shavemac #25 for my next brush. At $120 for a 26mm silvertip it's awfully tempting.

I have a Custom D01 and works well with Cella, other soaps and nancy Boy creams. I'm thinking about adding the #25 with a 22mm knot.
