Shaved with a Fatboy today and it shaved circles around my Edwin Jagger

Don't get me wrong, I love my DE86 and have been shaving with it pretty much exclusively for the past 4 weeks or so, but decided to give the Fat-boy a whirl this morning and oh boy, it was like sleeping on a pillow top mattress, nice and comfy from start to finish. Just thought Id share.

Guess what I'm shaving with tomorrow....

I found that early on with a 1963 SuperSpeed vs a DE89. Yet a good buddy of mine started with a 60s Superspeed, and after having it disappeared in customs, replaced it with a DE89 that he declared "The Excalibur of Razors!". Our mileage varied.I prefer a Slim to DE89 too, last I checked, but it's been a while.

I have never tried a Fatboy, but i prefer a Slim to a DE89.

Of course, I prefer just about any razor to a DE 89. The worst razor burn distributor I ever shaved with.

I agree. Fatboy is WAY better than the DE89.
