Shave of the Week Society (SWS)

That looks awesome!
Thank you for the kind comments. To give proper credit, this was done by Jay at Delta Echo. I also have this pre-War Tech that I think is just slightly more efficient!

It was in the wrong case, and I found someone on the BST who could use that case, so it has moved on.

I have both the pre-war and post-war tech. Excellent, efficient razors. I would take either to the desert island!

Here’s my set up for this week:
Wolfman SB
Cella soap
ZAZA blade (totally new to me!)
Assorted brushes and AS

M-F setup:

ATT R1 kronos
Feather DE
Fine Stout synthetic brush
MWF soap (I’ll use an arko stick on Friday)
Alum block
Stirling piacenza aftershave
Executive shave co. balm

Happy shaves!!

Here’s my SOTW:

Rockwell 6S / #3 plate
Dorco Primes (trying them out)
Tabac stick
Plissoft synth brush
Various A/S splashes

This week I am going back to basics – this is my, “get it done, nothing fancy shave”.
Pre: warm water splash
Razor / Blade: British Flare Tip Rocket / Derby Extra
Soap: Haslinger Marigold (In an OS mug)
Brush: Fendrihan Synthetic (I am quite smitten with this brush. I can use it every day…excellent!)
Post: Lucky Tiger AS Splash (no alum, no ASB…just plain Lucky Tiger)

Hope y'all have a great week of shaves!

The plan is to use my NEW short comb. Part of the week will finish up the life of a Perma-Sharp Super blade. The rest of the week, I don't know yet. What blades do you folks like with a NEW? Comfort is preferred, as this razor is probably my most efficient and can bite me if my mind wanders!

For soap, most likely Mystic Water Sensitive Skin, my favorite! Brush will vary, but will be synthetic.

This week:
Razor: Wolfman WR1
Blade: Personna lab
Soap: Haslinger’s coconut (for spring!)
Assorted brushes and AS (since I need some variety)

This week I have a great lineup planned:
Pre: warm water splash
Razor: A Boker shorty I restored some time ago. A great shaver.
Soap: Santa Maria del Fiore (love the scent of this product)
Brush: Its badger week! I have three I will rotate. The one in the picture is my new Vulfix badger brush
Post: Nivea Original splash

No worries...this clubhouse always remains open with the welcome mat ready. Looks like a solid setup for this week. Enjoy!

This week:
Wolfman SB razor
Silver Star blade
Cella soap
Stirling AS (assorted)
Simpsons brushes (rotation)

This week is trying out a new razor, a 1967 Slim adjustable. In case of a shave apocalypse, I decided to get two more Slims. Right after finding the 1967 on the BST (Thanks, @Landri!), I found another 1964 birth quarter, so now I have three Slims and only one face!

'67 Slim Adjustable
Personna Platinum Chrome
Barrister & Mann Unscented (the now discontinued white label Classic series)
synthetic brushes

This week:
Wolfman WR1 razor
Personna lab blue blade
Haslinger’s coconut soap
Simpsons brushes (assorted)
AS rotation

My kit for the upcoming week (sorry no pics):

Razor: I am going to alternate between a Schick Type G and a Merkur 23c with a Derby Extra blade
Soap: Simpsons Shave Cream
Brush: I will rotate through my badgers
AS: Lucky Tiger and Nivea Sensitive

Hope y'all have a great week of shaves!
