Razor: Gem Micromatic Clog Pruf
Blade: Personna GEM PTFE Stainless Steel Blade
Brush: Rick Montalvo Grade A Silvertip Badger
Pre-Shave: Proraso White
Lather: Seaforth! Heather
Aftershave: Seaforth! Heather Aftershave Toner
Additional Care:
Thayers Facial Tonic Witch Hazel Rose Petal

ASR and MdC Monday SOTD- a luxury shave, two and 1/2 passes with some clean up to get to BBS-, very close, very smooth, just a tiny bit of stubble I missed, and no mishaps:

Pre-shave: nice hot shower
Razors: ER Streamline- a marvelous shaver, just right for Monday morning; I forget how nice these razors shave- easy, smooth, fairly mild, but feels solid and very effective
Blade: GEM PTFE (4)- what's to say- these blades just work well, especially after a few shaves
Brush: DS Cosmetic 22mm "super" badger- not really as soft as super, but as good as a decent best; pretty nice for the price and in the running for the next trip as a travel brush
Soap: MdC Fougere- just a fine preforming soap that made a great lather in the little plastic lather bowl
Post-shave: cold rinse, then Floid Black AS- smells nice

Stay well all!

Razor: RR "Mamba" 70
Blade:
Derby "USTA"

Pre: Noxzema

Brush: Yaqi 24mm synth "Barber Pole"
Lather: Osma w/alum

Post:
GBS alum block
Splash: Thayer's "Facial Toner"
Balm: CeraVe "Moisturizing Lotion"
Frag: Vera Wang "Men"
Strange stuff, that Osma
alum soap. Made a thin
gruel of lather that looked,
well, pathetic . . . but wow!,
was it slippery.

Turns out it helped give me
one of those "can't-stop-
feeling-your-face" shaves.
Still, I'd like to see a more
robust lather.

Box score: no nicks, no cuts,
no whiskers. (So I guess I
should stop complaining.)

Stay healthy,

Bill

- Blade: Schick (3)
- Soap: Razorock Amica
- Aftershave: Razorock Amica
- Scent: D&G The One EDT

I have been travelling and my 24yo son tested positive for COVID yesterday so it has been a bit crazy as of late. He has minor symptoms but my wife and I are trying to avoid him as he lives with us. Fun times!

My apologies for the lack of a themed SOTD thread this week, but sometimes life gets crazy.

Nice shave yesterday with an injector borrowed from @rockviper and a M&F brush borrowed from @SgtCrppls . Both are a treat to use. 👍

My first BBS shave from an injector. Only razor that has had a learning curve for me. Took me longer to get my angles right with injectors than it did with SRs.

Amica is a nice soap but the AS is a tad too much clove for me. Too bad it is discontinued though. Razorock soaps are so inexpensive for the quality. Really good stuff. The M&F is an excellent brush and I will be sad to see it go when I return it next year. LOL, it’s going home soon, Doug!

9.5/10
