I have a razor that just never seems to get as sharp as my other razors. I can't tell if the steel is harder or what. It seems very sharp but the blade tugs like it's not sharp. I've been a chef for over twenty years and I do know how to sharpen my knives and razors, but this problem only happens with the one razor, anyone else have this problem?

I have blades that are a little tougher to get where I want and some that dont retain the edge as long as I'd like, but one way or another, they usually get there. Any chance the bevel is off?
What brand is it?

and you may have to spend a bit more time on the bevel set.... i had a razor here that was like that... i discovered i just wasn't getting the bevel perfect and i paid the price later......
