SHARK WEEK: July 24-31!!

More Deep Thoughts than Jack Handy
My favorite Shark blade is the Platinum. My favorite shark is the Mako. I don't know what any of this means though. I expect very little blood will be in the water. Even less on my face.

This momentous and daring feat, for the first time ever, anywhere! is preparation for SHARK WEEK AND ARKO AUGUST.

Not just one amazing heroic achievement BUT BOTH dangerous acts AT THE SAME TIME!!!

Maybe AMERICAS GOT TALENT (AGT) should pay attention.

I am a daredevil, trained stuntman, extreme risk taker (that has a trained medic on stand-by) and will attempt the most challenging shave OF ALL TIME!!!.

Notice in the trailer photo, a special razor WITH LARGE TEETH, (IN honor of JAWS) a new, never used SHARK SS blade and the famous/infamous ARKO soap

See the exciting conclusion TOMORROW... if I survive this once in a lifetime achievement!!!

I'm in!! Who needs all those spectacularly smooth and close shaves anyway?!? It's SHARK WEEK!!

I am in!! With a Challenge PIF assortment including SS and Platinum Sharks plus JAWS blades.

Blame that on @Grundi @AnimalCatcher and @Chard52142

Count me in! I will pull out the .84 Jaws! I still have plenty of blades from last year. I also have some seaweed soap. This will be a good time to try it out.

And I will track down my RR .84 Jaws, too. It has the ferocious big teeth thing for sure. Seaweed soap? Does seaweed get dirty?

I’m in. Last time I was on vacation with a limited kit. This is no issue this year. Perhaps I’ll test them in the Progress for this edition @ivan_101 ?

I only tried the SS and the Super Chrome in the Progress. SS is good @3 as it is pretty sharp. The SC lacks sharpnes on shave #1 and becomes sharper and smoother on #2 and even smoother on#3, so I used it @5.

Btw, we'll have Tiger Week and 7 o'clock week at the end of August - early September, right?
Are the Progress as good as I hear? I have looked at them in the past but they were out of my range the last few times I looked....

You didn't ask the right person. :c1: I will not be able to give you an unbiased answer. I bought 4 in two years. Here is some reading.

Still, although an adjustable, it is not a razor that everyone likes. Quite a different shave compared to the Gillette adjustables. It might be or it might not be you thing. Quite a lot of people have complained here, that is is too aggressive for them even on the lower settings.

Thank you for the reply.. I appreciate it a lot......

I am not in the zamak is junk camp. I have a few razors that have that type of top . Also Thank you too for the reply I appreciate it a lot..
What I found out, with the help of others here on B&B, is that it is perfect for blades that perform not so good in mild razors. Put them into the Progress and crank it up to 4-5 and most of them shave like a dream.

Blades that are originally on the sharper end should be treated more cautiously on lower settings though.
