Nice, I feel the same. Just enough backbone and once broken in nice and soft. Post some pics when its done.

Ok, here it is. I experimented with loft. Settled on 50mm.
I gotta say that the handle shape combined with the TGN Finest makes a sweet brush.
Sadly, the remnants of the original Kent decal disintegrated during the restoration.

Anybody ever heard of replacement Kent decals?

Anyway. This was a fun project.

My latest....wood is interesting and not where I am strongest. I probably stained and sanded and restained and resanded 15 times. Replaced the old knot with a 20 mm TGN Pure Badger knot.

Wow. Very nice. I have a handle just like that and I didn't know it could look so good. I might have to restore mine now.

A few I just set the knots in.

First is a 28x50 set in a bakelite Fuller (think chubby 2 only better looking)

Second is a 26x51 set in an Ever Ready 200 in the coveted green and black.

Third is 24x47 set in a terrific OLD Rubberset (saw an ad from 1908 with this handle)

Got to love those marbled butterscotch and black Fullers. They look awesome with a big, fat badger knot stuck in them.

Great restorations!
