Two Every Ready restoration. First, an Ever Ready 200 with a 22mm short bulb finest TGN knot. The knot is a perfect fit for this handle. The loft is set at 50mm. Second, Ever Ready 150 with a 20mm fan finest TGN knot. Again, perfect fit and the loft is set at 44mm.

Culmak 20mm, will be getting a new knot.
The brush is filled with this not too hard not to soft material, really don't know what it is. If anybody has a idea , please share. Around the knot there was a wire to keep the hair together. Will be putting in a 20mm TGN two band.

I am green with envy. Those handles are going for $30 plus on the bay now! I have a red 150 with a TGN Finest Fan 24mm@54mm and it's my favorite brush. Very nice!

Fuller:
- 20mm TGN 2-band Finest XH
- Loft set at 52mm
- Overall height 98mm
Ever-Ready 750:
(My go to brush right now)- 26mm TGN 2-band Finest XH
- Loft set at 60mm
- Overall height 110mm
Made-Rite 650:
- 16mm TGN 2-band Finest
- Loft set at 50mm
- Overall height 94mm
...yeah, you could say I'm a bit addicted to TGN's "Finest" knots

I really like the red 150. Perfect size. I wonder why the green one are more popular than the red though...
The reds are more common than the greens. There are lots of red handles on eBay, but not that many greens. Both are nice, though!

Here is my current stock of handles awaiting knots. From left to right a Plymouth butterscotch bakelite 20mm, Kent KS? butterscotch bakelite 24mm, Ever-Ready 150 Cream and Blue 20mm, Rubberset (with molding tabs removed) black and butterscotch 20mm, Ever-Ready black and brown 22mm, and last but not least Rubberset black and white will take a 26mm knot.
I really like that black and brown Ever-Ready. That's a combination you don't see everyday and it looks in great shape. Would love to see that with a nice TGN two-band Finest Badger.
I believe I ordered a silvertip for it but the knots for all of them should be in today. I'll post a pic and you can take your pick! they will all be in the BST soon b/c I just splurged on a Chubby 1 super 2 band.
Here they are completed minus the little plymouth butterscotch, the 20mm knot I ordered was too much it needs a 18mm. All TGN knots set to ~50mm unless noted. The cream and blue got a 20mm Pure Badger, the butterscotch and black 20mm Pure Badger, the black and brown Ever-Ready 20mm best badger, my vintage Rooney with 24mm finest XH, the butterscotch kent ks? has a 22mm silvertip, the little black and white rubberstet 20mm best and its big brother got a 24mm finest fan XH set to ~46mm.
Here is my latest batch of brushes pre-bloom:
Post-Bloom:
The little butterscotch came in an ever-ready travel tube but the brush does not have any makers marks, its catalin and says 300cc badger and bristle made in USA. It has a 16mm Best badger knot from TGN set to ~42mm.
The Rooney Butterscotch has a 22mm Finest XH from TGN set to ~48mm. It should continue to bloom, the finest seems to take a while.
The Rooney Persian Jar has a 22mm Silvertip Grade A from TGN set to ~50mm. It bloomed nicely and produced a ton of lather during the test lather.
The last one is a Ever Ready 100 that has a 20mm silvertip from TGN set to ~50mm. Thanks to BandB member Noahpictures for selling me the brush, its the colors of my alma mater, the university of kansas. It is a gift to my father for fathers day along with a super speed.

48 is looking like the sweet spot.
Nice, I feel the same. Just enough backbone and once broken in nice and soft. Post some pics when its done.
