I think I found an Imperial ii at a shop today but am not sure. The blind cap was firm and I didn't want to force it. Nib was a two tone 14k. Tines seemed even but slightly curved up. Sound like something that is worth taking a second look at?

White dot on cap too if that is significant
Sounds like a find. Sheaffer curled the tips up for a period with the Triumph nib (conical one, right?) and they write great .. a little stiff usually. Is it a conical or inlaid V nib?

Sounds high, I would go $20 max and I can fix it.

I will see if they will let me snap a pic of it for reference. It may not be an imerial.
