My flying wing is giving me a bit of a fit so I set it aside this PM in prep for my daughter's school play. First use, BBS! Hate to say it, but this may be the best razor I own. Still, I have a black tip super speed and a tech or 2 to try. Right now, this flare tip comes a very close second to my NEW from about 1930. No wonder the vintage Gillettes are so sought after!

The older razors were so popular for a reason. The same reason they are still popular. They perform!!!
I love flare tip Superspeeds. I mever tried a 40s style or Ranger Tech, but the garden variety flares have been much kinder to me than the SE razors I've used. Easier to get a close shave without any irritation.
