Grabbed these bones the other day. Wanted one of the barrel shapes bad (even this one being a gnarley) haha. The second pipe was a random. Its a beauty!

When you said peeps, I first thought you meant the sugar covered ones that Woolworth’s used to sell.So definitely not a tobacco acquisition but it is a family wide acquisition for the month of September. Today we got 6 peeps for our family to enjoy. Hopefully next year than can tolerate me being out on the back patio enjoying a quick smoke.
But you meant live ones!

Apparently you have fresh eggs you can’t ever go back to store bought. I wish I could have that many chickens myself but a city ordnance limits us to 2.
Thanks y’all! Both of my daughters (8&3) just came home from school and are excited to see the baby chicks in their brooder box. All’s good with the peeps as well. They are eating, drinking, pooping and sleeping quite well. So it looks like we’re on a good path to healthy chickens and fresh eggs next spring……….or so I hope!
True story. Fresh eggs can ruin a man. We'll occasionally buy some if we're doing a bunch of baking, and they don't taste like they are even the same thing.
Been keeping chickens for several years. When I have extra eggs, I have no trouble selling them at work. Nothing like fresh eggs!
True. We used to get fresh eggs from a lady who kept a small chicken coop on her property. Much tastier than the grocery store variety, and according to her, even lower in cholesterol.
It is interesting the attachment that some people form with their chickens. This lady was very fond of hers, and always kept them tidy and safe, almost as house pets.
When asked if I named my chickens, my reply : "Egg producer and Dinner".
My daughter named some of our first chicks, but the kids all learned the difference between pets and livestock pretty quick. In the average year I kill 3 or 4 foxes in the yard.

Got my Morgan order in today. I ordered the Rhodesian and the Briar Cigar. The Stubby 20 was my mystery pack. That was a bit of a let-down, since I already have one, but it gives me something to play with.

Got the sms meer in the mail today. Did a little cleaning and went ahead and waxed it. It darkened up a bunch. Gonna clean the stem then try it out.

On the Morgan Facebook page, somebody commented that it looks like arbutus, which would make this particular shape very rare. I'll have to check it out when I get home.Nice! Those mystery pipes are pretty fun! That stubby is pretty sweet looking. Nice grain
It does have a very Arbutus grain pattern to it. Good looking pipe!

My SP order came a day early, which is especially great because I'm off today and have the time to properly enjoy my spoils.
An 8oz. tin of Navigator, a Newgrange Spigot bulldog, a Dracula bulldog, and a Christmas 2021 Deerstalker.
These are some gorgeous pipes.
The pipe rest is nice, but it could be larger. Longer, at any rate. The Sherlock Holmes pipes are all pretty beefy, and this rest doesn't let them sit deep enough to be stable. They just kind of perch on top, and a careless bump could knock them over. But I can make do, and it's really a very minor complaint.
