MMOC/GEM PTFE, blade flipped.

Proraso Red.

Maggard synthetic.

51 hours since last shave.

Typical 3 pass+ shave and I either did everything just right, or, Proraso Red is a lot better soap than I remember. I believe its the latter.

My best shave yet with this razor.

Switched to the MMOC, as I'll be transitioning to Open Comb October (OCtober). Got a decent two pass shave. For whatever reason, the TOBS lather was lacking something today.

I think the next time I use this razor, I'll be using a fresh GEM PTFE blade.

Better shave with the MMOC today than yesterday. New blade, much better, slicker lather. One tiny nick but smooth and close shave.

May be the last shave of SEptember. We'll see how tomorrow goes. Great to see improvements in my SE technique and good shaves from the razors I used. Still a number that didn't get into rotation, mainly injectors.

Does a twin injector blade count? If so, I used a modern Schick twin in an adjustable Schick. I have had some great shaves with the twins but I like the Prolines better.

Its been a fun month! I shaved with an SE razor every day but one when I skipped shaving. Most of the time I used my injectors but got out the Micromatic for a few shaves. All gave superb results. Now that I've gotten a chance to compare them for an extended period my favorites are the Schick E3 and the J1. Both hit the sweet intersection of comfort and efficiency.

I'm going to slip back to the DE world for a few days. This is not because I am in any way dissatisfied with my injector shaves. I have to test myself to see if I can equal the superb shaves I've been getting with them. I avoided injectors for like 50 years but never knew what I was missing!
