Semogue Storage!?

I've been looking for a stand of some sort for the Semogue 1460 brush I just bought at Pasteur's. All the stands they had would not hold the Semogue. Do I even need a stand or could I store it right side up ?? Any advice?

I store all my boar right side up. I shake the water out of them and leave them out for a day before they go back into storage or are reused.

+1

The brush will dry standing up without any problems due to capillary action. Brush stands look nice for display purposes, but are not a necessity.

I just thought that letting it dry right side up might trap some water in the handle and cause eventual damage to it.

Those exceptionally cheap cutout ones fit my 1470. I have a wood stand, but I'd assume the dimensions are the same for the plexi. The handle catches just above the bottom and the bristles stay maybe 5-8mm off the base.

As others have said, you don't have to hang brushes. I tend to throw my brushes in to hang after the shave anyway. Then they get stood back up when the next days brush goes in.
