Semogue "Il Rasoio" Limited Edition brush

Hi guys

I am going to introduce you to Semogue's brush made for the Italian forum "Il Rasoio"
This brush has a 22 mm knot and 52 mm loft made of a blend of finest badger hair (new type) and 90% tops boar hair, similar to the the famous Caravela brush, but with a 22 mm knot, instead of 24mm.
Also the handle used in this brush is a "vintage one", not longer in production, that has been "rescued" for this project.....the handle may seem inconvenient, but it was not.

Only 100 brushes would be made, numbered and will have the following engraving on the handle base :

Forum
Il Rasoio - 2012
Semogue
1/100

The brushes were sold out early...
About 15/20 brushes were sold not only to the Italian forum(Someone of my badger&blade's friend have one? )

The price was 35€

Tried it after two shower with bath foam and 1 simple.
The brush does not stink but ... slightly retained the smell of soap with which I had foam (soap Occitane)
The brush is soft but not floppy (we hope to stay that way ... because I like even more backbone)
Lather well and it's possible feels the quality of the bristles.
The foam is great but not superabbondante (but i will let you know becuase it is the first foamed in the face with red Proraso bowl ....)
The brush holds a lot of water compared to the bristles Omega and pure badger entry level I've tried.
The water is kept so well that it does not drip during FL as is the case with omega bristles, but just a little touch on loft and here the water.
The bristles rate are felt with some tingling that can only be described with one word: PLEASURE

My question, as I said before the purchase was for the handle which could be uncomfortable: NO MORE 'ERGONOMIC
The handle is comfortable and beautiful
As well as the node 22 ... may seem small but grows on the face better of the nodes 24.

this is some pictures of the brush:

i've worn a path checking the mail since ordered before christmas. i'm hoping the green in this handle matches the green from the italian barber le i've been using now for about 3 weeks

I've managed to grab one myself too, number 64/100.
As I'm currently breaking in my Semogue 2012 SE, I've haven't used this one yet. The knot looks very similar to the Semogue TSN 2012 LE brush, although it seems to be a bit softer when dry.

Very nice, Bruno was kind enough to tell me there were a few brushes left while they had stocks but I was already leaving for Perth for the holidays so I had to give this a pass
