Semogue 1460

I just had another great shave with my new Semogue 1460. What a great little brush! Not even broken in yet, and it's just wonderful for face lathering. Lotsa backbone, and already quite soft. Haven't yet tried it for bowl lathering... Tonight I used it with RR Napoleon's Violet, Merkur 1904 and an Astra blade.

The little guy cost me under $15 delivered from Vintage Scent. I got much, much more that my money's worth.

Deelighted!

The 1460 was the brush that got me liking boars , The 1460 doesnt try to pretend he is a badger , he just wants to face lather shave sticks and tear up soaps and croaps

How does it compare to the Omega 10005?

Shorter knot at 22mm and loft is set to 50mm. The 1460, or any Semogue is more dense than Omegas. Also, once broken in it's as soft as it gets.

Fantastic brush! I also have a 1470, which is the same brush, but with a stained handle instead of painted.

Glad you like your brush! IMHO the Semogue line offers a great brush with incredible value...and the prices from Vintage Scent make it hard to argue with!
