It is not just a shabby looking (random) Aristocrat, it's a British Aristocrat!
For me, the Aristocrat is, in of itself, not special. However, a nicely restored razor is definitely special.

To me it's one of the best looking DE razors ever made. It's quite complex, but doesn't look fussy or over the top. Also, the deep and clean gleam of rhodium is really stunning. The shave it gives is very good, although I think the New RFB has the edge in that respect.
This is one of the few vintage razors I have kept. Very special. Congrats on the great razor score.

Perfectly described! - As regards the shaves I find that the British Aristocrats match any razor I have tried. Only other razor to match them in smoothness is the Hybrid Tech.
