I am looking to find aftershaves that are similar to those barbers used when I was a kid, 1950's. The memory of the different aftershave smells would be wonderful to smell again. Is there a line of aftershaves that smell like the vintage aftershaves?

Pinaud Clubman. I don't know if you can truly call it vintage, since it's still being produced. Dominica Bay Rum is a classic standby. It's the only Bay Rum I like, and the scent I associate with old-school barbershops.
Seek out Canoe. It's an oldy. I can't stand it.... but it was one from years ago.

Thanks for the replies many good suggestions and vintage brands. I will check out the Vintage After-shave forum too.
Pinaud Clubman products are your best bet, followed by Osage Rub and Aqua Velva. Don't forget the Old Spice.
I used to love Hai Karate! I wish they still made it.
Still affordable and plentiful on ebay. And chances are those bottles are still fermenting.
If it's too far gone to wear I'll drink it!
