Has anyone tried these blades? I got some from a local store, tried them in an Aristocrat Jr, and then went back to cartridges (which was pretty much all I knew at the time) for the next 15 years.

They were wretched, but maybe I was pretty unskilled too.

Now that I've been converted full-time to DE shaving, since January, I have been wondering about those terrible blades. And today I found them again, stashed in a box of loathsome things!

Should I attempt to scrape them over my face? Gents?

If you tape one edge, they can be used to scrape paint off of windows. Give them to a drug user neighbor for chopping up clumpy powdery substances. Give them to your worst enemy. Smuggle them to your buddy in prison who needs an improvised weapon to help maintain his virginity. On a related note, use them as the electrodes in a 110v "stinger" type one cup water heater for tea. (caution advised) But don't shave with them. They are wretched. If you must shave with one, try a Gillette adjustable set on "1". Don't do this without styptic. BANZAI!
