GEM 1912 Squat Head / CVS Carbon Blade / Proraso Pre/soap / OS Splash -- Maiden voyage of this NOS razor and first 1912 shave for me--it may have had to wait ~100 years to fulfil its purpose, but it performed flawlessly. Against 3-day's growth, it was very efficient, LOTS of blade feedback, I could have easily stopped at one pass but got a near-BBS with two passes. A comfortable shave; no irritation, nicks, weepers or cuts and no burn from the Vintage OS after shave. Most Impressive!
