After missing yesterday's Single Edge Sunday shave I decided to combine SES with Menthol Monday for todays shave.
Razor: 1910 Gem Junior Bar Lather Catcher
Blade: Vintage Gem Duridium honed by me
Brush: 200-2 Rubberset Two Band Badger
Soap: WSP Formula T Cooling Barbershop
Astringent: Osma Alum block
Aftershave splash: WSP Cooling Barbershop
3 pass shave with the vintage Gem blade them one pass for cleanup with a modern Gem blade and I'm BBS+ . Very close, comfortable, smooth shave with zero irritation and no weepers. Absolutely no stinging when applying the alum.
This little razor still amazes me every time I use it very effective at removing stubble.

Razor: RazoRock Satin Hawk v2
Blade: Feather AC Pro (1)
Cream: Gillette Pure
Brush: RazoRock BC Silvertip Plissoft

I was in a hurry, so only shaved two quick passes with a fresh blade. Smooth, close, and comfortable. I've been a casual user of AC format razors until recently, just a few shaves here and there, when I decided to go on an extended trial. I strongly suspect that once I'm completely comfortable with this razor, I may never use a DE razor on a regular basis again, and even my carts will become an occasional thing (which for me is saying something, I like carts).

I cannot face the thought of using a DE Razor again, and though I have Feather Cart just in case I cannot see it being used.

SOTD: Wednesday August 12, 2020
Razor: Blackland Sabre L2
Blade: Personna Gem Stainless PTFE (5)
Soap: OH Puck!

Four fantastic shaves, one pretty good, and I know Friday's gonna be just OK but that's OK.

After a few shaves with the Proraso Green, back to OH Puck! today. As the blades wear down I tend to spend a little more time going back over some spots, and my soap has a lot more residual slickness than the Proraso.
