Ever Ready 1924 / GEM Stainless PTFE (3) - shave 3+ is where these blades seem to shine. I may start to strop them before first use.

+1....I find the same issue with the GEM PTFE blades...1st shave ok but shave #2, 3, 4 & 5 are great, yes time to strop the new blade.
