Still maybe a week left in the blade, if my previous experience is any guide. This morning was another DFS, though the blade is beginning to feel "mature."

Still shaving well. No nicks, no blood, no irritation/passes throat test. Tried a minimal face-prep at around (5) or (6) and no tugging at all. This soap smells a little odd, first time using it.

Razor: Everready Streamline 2nd Generation: Mfg 1949-53 one of the better looking ASR razors and built to last, Mid range(upper?)
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE(5) excellent blade, very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely and predictable.
Soap: Ogallala Bayrum & sandal wood- Very nice Bayrum clove scent that lasts with the sandal wood compliments the clean scent.
Brush: Yaqi artic sky 24mm knot, excellent synthetic to create some fine lather, cloud like soft whiskers, good gentle scrubber also.
Pre shave: brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Ogallala Bayrum & sandal wood aftershave + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my ER streamline 2nd Generation razor + Gem coated blade.

Nice lather from the soap. Too mild a scent but thick creamy and slick quality. The brush feels plush and was awesome
1st shave with razor paired with blade. Wow...!!! It was way smoother and much more comfortable compare to the GEM Push Button. So smooth that I can go ATG on the upper lips area. 3passes for a mostly BBS result! Wow indeed. Saw some minor creepers later though. Excellent post & aftershaves.
Rating 9.5/10.
Absolutely enjoyed using this GEM Junior...beautiful razor and shaves wonderfully!!

First shave with Gem style razor

Switching from steep to shallow angle made for a nice and effortless shave. It’s quite head heavy with a skinny handle so I had to adjust my grip but then it worked. The Shavemac Pure is nice and scrubby for face lathering with absolutely no scritch.

Great lather from the soap. Creamy, slick and very nice scent.
1st use of razor with the blade was very good. Quite smooth and comfortable for 3+1passes and result in a mostly bbs feel. Saw some creepers. Excellent post & aftershaves.
Another wow GEM razor similar to the Junior. Easy to use and although can't do a direct wtg under the nose but xtg and atg on the upper lips area are breezy. Rating 9.7/10
