SE SOTD- What was your tool of choice today?

GEM Micromatic Bullet Tip / GEM (6th)
Barbasol from a can
Afta AS Balm
Polo Sport Cologne/EDT

Not a bad shave, pretty much BBS in 2 passes and touch-up. Went easy, figuring tomorrow will be back to a 3 pass shave for work. (Insurance office, we'll most likely remain open, as we're pseudo essential service)

First shave using the Edwin Jagger 25mm Silvertip Fiber Synthetic Brush. Excellent brush. Definitely on a par with the Mühle 25mm Silvertip Fiber. Wonderful brush!

First use of the G eàu Black Eau de Toilette Spray. Great scent (on me, at least). Wife approved!

Great combination of hardware and software. :)

Cracked open a brand new Schick Lady Eversharp. Lathered up Vintage Old Spice with the Rudy Vey Contributors brush. Finished off with Captains Choice Lime Aftershave.

Excellent shave! But what really stood out was the Schick Lady Eversharp. Best shave with an injector I’ve ever gotten. Might even surpass my favorite DE, Gillette Red Tip.

^^^ I have that razor as well; NOS, probably from the same seller. Nice to hear it shaves well, though I'll likely keep it unopened and trade it for something down the line.

Boston Safety Razor w/modified Gem ptfe stainless blade
bss2.jpg bss1.jpg

You can see how the blade needs to be modified to fit the razor. BBS finish but a little harsh of a shave which in this case looks to be because I accidentally dinged up part of the blade. I plan to modify a new blade before giving this razor another go.
