SE shaver

Hi:

I've seen a few single edge shavers where the blade is perpendicular to the handle (unlike a straight razor with replaceable blades). The older ones I've seen seem to use a blade that seems to be about the width of a DE blade but only one edge is sharp, the other has a guard on it. Are there any that use 1/2 DE blades?

I thought the Cobra Classic might but it uses a cartridge instead.

Shavettes use DE blades that are broken in half. I don't believe there are any razors that would use a half-DE blade but have a handle like an SE razor.

Thanks. I don't know why I posted this here when there is a SE discussion, my apologies. I had a look there and there was a stickie about SE razors and none shown used half-blades.

If you haven't yet tried an SE razor, you're in for a treat. They're highly​ under-rated.
