As you've noticed, these are the correct blades and the only ones we recommend for customers of our GEM razor. The keys are 3-faced, stainless steel, and PTFE coated. The non-shaving blades don't share those traits.

I’m glad you had a good experience with the Personnas. My experience with the Ted Pellas was very bad: duller than a butter knife.

I get that, I just think it’s important to let folks, especially new ones, know what’s available and give them feedback as opposed to just telling them what to use or not use.

Connaught Shaving in the UK is a great source, both for price and reliability. I’ve purchased a lot of equipment from them and I’ve always been very happy. I just recently bought the 100 pack of Personna SE blades because I was down to just a couple left, and even with shipping to the US the price was $24.66, you’re probably not going to beat that anywhere. They also sell them in smaller quantities.
