Hello fellow SE users,
Recently, I found an alternative to ordering Gem blades from Ted Pella, or EMS. I waited until I had the boxes of blades in my hands before I posted this, because I wanted to make sure that these were in fact coated, stainless steel blades. Call me skeptical

Here's the catch: There is a $30.00 minimum purchase to place an order, and they do not disclose the shipping cost at the final payment screen.
A 100ct box of Gem SE blades is $14.69.
The price I paid for 300 GEM stainless steel, coated blades (Re Order Code 62-0165) - $44.07, Plus shipping FedEx $10.06 = $54.13.
That comes out to 18 cents a blade (roughly).
If you're serious about these blades, this might help you out.
Joe
