I've been hearing good things about the Scotch & Porter brand, and decided to check their products out in the store. I was mostly interested in the Hair Serum to use for my beard, then I saw the Beard Serum. The price is $20 for a 50mL bottle. The ingredients look good, but not much better than Cremo.
Lady Zig bought a bottle of the Hair Serum because I can use it on my beard and she can use it on her hair. It's been four days, and I'm unimpressed. It's not a bad product, but it's not worth twice the cost of Cremo either.
Am I missing something here? This brand is marketed toward the African American market. I'm not black, but I'm half Cherokee and my hair is dark and coarse. I figured this would be a better choice for my hair type, but it's no better than the 8+ other oils / serums / balms that I already have.
Any thoughts on how Scotch & Porter has performed for you?
