Scored a synthetic Omega brush, anything I should know?

I've scored an Omega 90081 synthetic brush for just a few quid to have a play with lathering soaps, is there anything I should be aware of before I use it?

You don't need to wait for it to break in. It is ready to go on receipt.
You don't need to soak it more than enough to get it wet.
Shake off the excess water by holding the fibers down vertically and giving a couple of gentle downward shakes.

This is white nylon of the first generation of synthetic fibers so be aware it will behave like a very stout boar brush.

Thanks - it's a 90081. It's not attractive at all but I've not bought it for the looks, just to try something different.
