Boil an egg, squash it and put into a plastic bag, place the razor next to the egg mash and seal the bag. Enjoy how the patina develops.

I gave it the baking powder and aluminum foil method twice, then went at it with silver polish. It looks great but there are still some dark spots stuck in places... Should I ignore this or is there something else I can try other than physically picking at it?

I think your right. the closer I look at the spots the more I am thinking that they are places where the silver is gone and its just the brass (or whatever metal) im seeing underneath. im packing it up. Here are some parting beauty shots. this is where she'll be for quite a few years, waiting for me to cut off my beard lol...
