Schick Proline

Back to the Proline tonight with a Proline blade too:

Ergonomically this is such a good razor - the grip and balance are both superb.
And the Proline blade is surprisingly smooth.

After my recent experiences with the B1 Repeater and now this I am rapidly becoming a Schick fanboy!

Another phenomenal shave with the Proline tonight - ha ha it demands that you pay attention and rewards you with such a lovely result!

I much prefer the grip on the Proline to the DX.
I wonder when they stopped making these and why?

I have a Kai captain and a DX. One of these would round out my collection. Very nice. The Schick Proline P30 blades are my favourite. What is the difference between them and the P30's?

Weirdly this one came in a job lot of straight razors from a British seller.
I think it was sent from shaving nirvana to delight us...

Any idea how much either the kamisori or folding type Proline razors sold for at retail when they were in production?

I got lucky, very nice feel to it and great balance. Feather Super pro's that I like to use in my other shavettes is a bit too much in this Schick.

Does anyone know why the Prolines are no longer made? I'd buy a kamisori and shavette in a heartbeat. I prefer the aesthetics over the Feather AC.
