Yup ,if you can handle a FaTip, then you can handle any razor! . I use the blades sparingly but I've gotta try them and I do like vintage blades.Excellent CB! I thought you were probably not going to use the original blades (for collection). After shaving with aggressive razors such as an OCMM, 1924, and a Fatip I find it very hard to get cut with an injector. You have another nice addition to your collection.

1st shave with the 500. Just like the I-2 HM.The blade took a few strokes to smooth out. 4 pass + touch up. So itsa nice razor and I actually like the longer handle. The shave was a dfs but I had to use more pressure than my beloved E-2s' . Still no blood or irritation even after after the atg. The blade, well it's not fair to compare but it ain't no (true Brooklynese phrase) Personna 74. I know, apples and oranges, but I like the historic feel of the razor and time period blade.
So will I use it everyday--no that's for my E-2s', but if ever I need a late day quickie(stop smirking) this would be a good choice.
