What are your thoughts on this one?

On me it is a pleasant floral fragrance, with violet as dominant note, but there's nothing innovative. But it is very nice scent.

Aah, that would make sense. Scent is primordial memory trigger.

SotMorning: Caron Pour un Homme. I always forget how nice the drydown is. I'm still confused as to how they get the lavender to stick around for so long. I've never smelled another fragrance that had such a long-lived lavender note. I sprayed this on a few hours ago, and it's still lavender-y.

Perhaps it is formulated with a combo of synthetic lavender accords and natural lavender oil. The synthetics tend to wear a very long time.

This is one of my fav's of the last 6 months or so, I take it you enjoyed it?!

it's nice to see a handful of fella's wearing Montale recently.

On a vaca in mexico for the last week.

I wore a Czech & Speake Oxford and Cambridge most of the time along with Pens Douro, Racquets, Blenheim Bouquet and the seemingly forgettable citrus from the house.
