Wanted to point this out, shared before on other sites but PayPal gets you on conversion rates. Changing settings to your banks or cc rate is alot better. A little adds up. Many banks and credit cards (if your's is the free accounts) will charge you a foreign transaction fee which will eat up any savings you have on the conversion fee. You need to read your terms carefully.

Yes that was my point, PayPal fees are even worse. PayPal seems cheaper to send cash than bank wire here. Any tips there? I have a custom knife that requires bank wire or PayPal.

I find Paypal conversion rates higher than my bank's CC

They changed the TOS about a month ago for Canadians... Went from a 2.5% surcharge fee to 3.5%.

Since then, I'm letting the bank take care of this...
