i'm just wanting to share my enthusiasm for having pulled-off a great straight razor shave this morning -- i literally started straight shaving 3 weeks ago, starting from stratch with an unsharpened surgical razor from Poland....to think that i'm now shaving 99% nick-free whilst doing all my own honing is enormously satisfying. I shave about every 36-48 hours, and look forward to it immensely. With every shave i get just a little bit better than the last time, and i'm gettin much better at 'reading' the sharpness of my razor and doing a lot better with my prep. its alllll gooood!

i've got a Thiers-Issard AND a Dovo on the way..........
