If I wanted to try SV which one would you choose?

Only tried Desert Vetiver and it's excellent. Only heard good things about 70th anniversary but havent tried it. It's on my wish list.

Same except I have "only" about 40 soaps ...
Stick with the 4.3 version.
OK, I am finally convinced. I am going to purchase SV 70th, though it is currently out of stock at West Coast Shaving.

All are good but 4.3 is noticeable better in the post shave department. There is still a lot of beta 4.1 around particularly in the 70th scent.
And I can afford it, as opposed to MdC. Actually, I could afford MdC, but I would be paying for it in non-monetary costs once my wife sees the price.

My 2 MDC’s need to last a long time

I just received my first SV soap for Christmas: Opuntia 4.3. The scent, while not my new favorite, is mild enough that it's non-offensive.
I'm 7 shaves in and finally got a perfect lather. Mind you, all the lathers were very good (it's not a difficult soap to lather), but every soap has a perfect ratio of water to soap. I was about 95% every day, but I knew that last 5% was hiding. It always takes a few days to hit consistently perfect lathers with a new soap. Very nice post shave feel.
It's just about the same price as MdC (I always purchase two at a time), but I'm getting the distinct impression it's not going to last nearly as long.

I’ve used every one. 70th is my favorite scent.
They all perform identically regardless of beta version. I don’t notice any difference whatsoever between the versions.

I would recommend Felce for someone buying one for the first time.
