I’ve gotten some pretty wonderful shaves using this stuff. Now I’m going to compare it to Razorock’s knock off version and see how they compare. Just placed the order a few minutes ago.

Sometimes SMN doesn’t seem all that special until I remember that I ALWAYS get great shaves with it and the scent is classic.

I’ve tried the SMdF and while it‘s good - especially the scent - it seems to be a rather ordinary cream in a very nice glass jar. That said, when my SMdF arrived it had the grainy stearic grains in it, that while disappointing doesn’t seem to affect performance much.

If you have both, my advice is to swap containers and use the SMN.

I often prefer glass, but I prefer the (overall) aesthetics of the SMN (vs SMdF) container though, personally.


For performance, imo:
SMN v3 > SMN v2 ≈ SMdF.

Now I’m glad that I missed SMN v2 or I probably never would have tried v3, which I believe is what I currently have.

Judging by your replacement cream (pic), you have v3. "EUCALYPTUS GLOBULUS LEAF OIL" should be in the listed ingredients.
