Sandalwood

I haven't actually tried it, but if Edwin Jagger's sandalwood is as good as their Sea Buckthorn it should be great. I've heard that it's got a spectacular scent.

I've taken a liking to sandalwood and plan to try more creams. I've only used TOBS so far, but I like the scent and the lather characteristics of the cream.

Tried a number of them and settled on TOBS for scent and lather. Must admit I have not tried AOS sandalwood. But I am very happy with TOBS and see no need to.

I currently have AOS sandlewood and a sample of TOBS. I'm not good with scents, but TOBS seems like it may be much closer to a pure sandlewood, where as the AOS is a bit sweeter. That said, I much prefer the scent of AOS - nice cushiony lather too. I've only tried the TOBS sample once, but I was very impressed with that as well.

Have not tried the AOS, but the Geo F Trumper Sandalwood cream smells heavenly (though its not a pure sandalwood smell) and lathers up beautifully!!!

I am going to be trying some sandalwood cream fairly soon. My girlfriend put on some sandalwood perfume the other day at one of those strange stores that sell foreign arts and crafts, and it smelled pretty good.

My favorites are Truefitt & Hill and Green Pond.

The Green Pond is made by DR Harris and is almost an exact match to the Harris Sandalwood Aftershave, which I also love.

My vote is AOS. Closest to true sandalwood, without the sweet "oatmeal cookie" scent that many of the others have. Not my favorite performing cream, but passable. Next for me is SCS Sandalwood. Sweeter smelling than AOS, but not as much as the English companies.
