Going there in a few days to spend time with my daughter and her husband. It's quite a change from rural Alabama, so I'm looking for shaving goods. My daughter says there is an Art of Shaving near, anything else? I'm really looking for anything, high dollar to antique shop goods.

What part of San Diego are you going to be staying in? I've been trying to find some good spots of my own, without much luck, but there are plenty of antique shops that I have yet to visit. There are quite a few all lined up on Newport Ave. in Ocean Beach, it's the hippie beach. They have like 5 or 6 antique shops lined up within just a few blocks of each other. Not much in the way of DE, but I've seen a few straights in there. At Fashion Valley mall in Mission Valley they have AoS, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom's, and Bloomingdale's. Those big 3 should have some high end stuff. Wish I could help some more. Maybe someone else will come along and help the both of us out

Like you, I checked out the antique shops in OB last time we were there, and really found nothing.
Fashion Valley sounds like a good plan, I had not thought of Nordstrom as a place that sold skin care, but of course they would. I checked out the AOS website and really don't know if they would sell anything I would need or want, perhaps high end soaps and creams.
