Samples? Free or cheap

Anyone out there get free or cheap samples of shaving creams (brushless or brush necessary), or after shaves?

Saw that eshave had a sample pack for 15 bucks of 4 of each and was wondering if there are any others out there. Thanks in advance.

Rorschuck offers samples for sale. Geo F Trumper offers a sample pack of goodies, including shaving creams, for about $4.75 (suppose to be in pounds, but came to me in dollars, I think.

Email each of the major soap / cream brands. Tell them you are just starting our on Wetshaving, and you would love to see if they could send you a few samples. Include your email and postal address and I bet then send you oodles of samples for free...

I did it a few years ago and I must have received 50 EDT samples + 30 creams! And some discount codes for reordering 8)

Its a guesstimate from almost 5 years ago. But if I recall it was close to that =)

T&H, GFT, Baxter, were some of the most generous. Oh and GFT sent me samples of the skin food as well, which in turned caused me to buy the limes as soon as I was out of the sample.

I now use that sample bottle when traveling =)

The Gentlemens Refinery has a nice $8 sample. I picked it up and i like it better then the stuff I got from AoS.

Yeah, GFT is quite generous with their samples. And the Extract of Limes skin food does smell awesome, so much so that I have barely touched the Sandalwood and Coral ones I received as well.

I called Molton Brown and got some free samples on their way from England. And ordered a six pack sampler from TSD.

I got the following:

• Musgo Real
• Prosaro
• Tabac
• Godrej Lime
• TOBS Avocado

Can these creams used w/o a brush?
I own VDH brush, and just don't use it very much. My current shaving creams are CO Bigelow Red and Zirh Clear Shave Gel and a brush isn't required.
