salvageable?

I'm seeing very user grade razors our there and was wondering how do you determine when to rescue and when to walk away?

Example this one for $40, dropped tto , hardly any plating but it's an OC Aristocrat which go for a lot more if in good condition. (Not buying it so this is for purely educational exercise).

Now my thinking is that this is an american made razor and that the fix would be same as a dropping super speed.
I guess I know enough to be dangerous.
So Alex you would walk away?

I walk away from a razor when they is too much pitting. The razor you posted look salvageable, however, I wouldn't pay more than 20$ for it.

I trust in what your opinion is since you have helped me with the more complicated Toggle in the past.

Thanks for the replies,
So to the spirit of the tread, when you see these things how do you know when to buy and when to walk way?

Just like in business, there are no guarantees, you just try to win more than you lose. The more experience you gain, usually your success rate reflects your expanded knowledge. Translate this to razors, the more you see of them, the more you understand how they are put together, the better decisions you make.
