Salsa

Made some tomatillo salsa today to go on tacos, tamales, etc. Used some PDW (pretty damn warm) serrano peppers in it from sister-in-law's garden. It's sitting in the fridge now letting the flavors blend. I'll put some on a soft taco in a bit with some thin sliced grilled ribeye. grilled onion and bell pepper, and a bit of fresh lime juice.

Looks good to me. I’m having tacos tonight. although I bought the salsa it is Home style at least.

Home made does, indeed, always beat store bought. The Herdez Salsa Casera (which means home made) does a decent job of capturing the fresh taste of home made. If only it had some heat!

add some chile powder to it, or other ground hot spice combos to perk it up a bit.

I hit it with Melinda's Naga Jolokia, my favorite hot sauce.
