No, the head doesn't actually vibrate, it's more akin to a Roller Guard.

I haven't been able to get out much since I had both of my knees replaced but I did this weekend. The wife and I hit a couple of our favorite flea markets and found these. The one on the left is a silver plated 1918 Old Type, the center one is from 1921 and according to the serial number it was one of the last few to get a S/N and thin cap. The one on the right is a silver plated Hoffritz Slant.

After some years away from buying razors on ebay, I made an impulse purchase. I'm not sure what I won. I think it's a british aristocrat, but I can't be certain. It doesn't look quite like any on mr. razor. I'm off my game I guess. I'm aware of the 58, it's the other in the lot that has me confused.

I've figured it out. The listing had the name in it, it is not a gillette, it is a russian clone called a "Volga". Pretty darned convincing clone. Part sad, part excited to have an unknown coming my way.
Yes. I've seen some like it before, should shave similar as it's a clone after all.
Bought another spare Pearl. SSH-01. I use 2 Pearl open combs and have a couple of spares. But this one was less than 12 EUR.

Went to check price near me and couldn't find a listing.
With every year Pearls are getting sparser in Europe. I mean the regular non-adjustable models. They were available by Gifts & Care, but it is clear they are discounting them during the last months, and only have 2 models left from the ~20 they used to offer. The razor on the above photo was the last SSH-01 they had. I can see many sellers in the US stopped selling them too.
So I picked up this razor on Kijiji yesterday for $15 As a back up/ travel razor. Reading some other threads tells me it is a post WWII Gillette Tech made in Canada 4 piece. Anyone know anything more about these? It is in pretty good shape other than some of the playing coming off at the top. It also came with a spare gold handle. Looking forward to trying it.

From the BST. RazoRock Lupo DC .72 & .95 razor head. I already had a Barber pole Handle.
And yes it’s on a Paper Plate.

Here's one that I didn't already have, a 1941 Ranger Tech Hybrid. The wife and I went for some lunch and stopped by a small flea market afterwards. It had a U1 bade (1949) still in it and was pretty dirty but as you can see, it cleaned up nicely.
