Another find at a secondhand shop this long weekend. I think it is a No 22 Aristocratic from 1952 in a Valet case. It is in pretty good condition. Just needs a good clean and should be good to go. I have a couple of Valet razors that should fit the case.
Depending on the case can be set #22, #66 and depending on the plating - set #70View attachment 1023375View attachment 1023376View attachment 1023377View attachment 1023378View attachment 1023379View attachment 1023380

Mail Call.
One from Israel and one from here in Australia. The Gold Merkur Slant came from Israel and I bought it off eBay. It is in pretty good condition and the lid of the case has two cracks in it. I had not seen a Gold slant Merkur before but after I bought it I did find an old thread on the forum which has a little information. The other razor is a Milkman DE. It is made in Taiwan and has a wooden handle. It didn’t cost a great deal but it is brand new.
Can anyone precisely identify my new English made super speed? Anything I can do about the staining on the handle?
Shaves well, seems on the aggressive side with more blade gap than my slim on 8. I gave myself more irritation than I've had in quite a while the first time with it.
what´s the wight? Is it Aluminum made?

The name comes from the set sold on the German market - apparat -> paratInteresting, thanks guys. I look up "Parat" and here it is Gillette Rocket Parat - https://www.badgerandblade.com/forum/threads/gillette-rocket-parat.403849/
Any idea where the name comes from and what the little wings are for?
i like those brushes and i think you will like that feather SS. i found i like that style of handle, it felt very easy and natural to shave with. that 7-day Wilkinson is also very nice to shave with. a lot of technology went into those Wilkinson razors.Mail call!
