The "Peter Hathaway Capstick" of small game
This neat made in England Bakelite Tech landed today. It was a tag-a-long to what I was really after but I rather like it! Appears unused and I dig the heft with the metal cap...

And here's what I was really chasing. My Eclipse keeps tell me it's cold at night and was tired of being naked so...

Now it's all warm and snugly!

This is on its way from Italy. Been looking for one of these for a while. Can’t wait to take it for a spin. Heard they give a great shave.

"Western Defense Command" 1943
I picked this up at a local reenactment from a vendor. Not too shabby for 6 bucks :a14:

These were part of the standard British grooming kit issued to the troops during WWII. Should clean up nice. 20171015_144751.jpg 20171015_144758.jpg 20171015_144817.jpg 20171015_144854.jpg

Thank you gents!
Nice find! You just never know where you'll find something. A couple of weeks ago, I found 3 nice sets at a military surplus store.

That's awesome. This event has historically been pretty decent for me. I picked up my khaki set at the same reenactment, from a different vendor, a few years back. Lots of non-shaving odds and ends too.

Awesome score! Always dig anything with the Broad Arrow on it!

This is my first broad arrow score, aside from my Lee Enfield. I think there's a board arrow on there somewhere lol.

View attachment 828839 Just got these today. My wife got a 1912 style gem and for $10 I got a completely mint condition gem that is TTO I can’t even tell how if it’s even been used. The E-1 gillete was $14 and will go to be revamped.
Those are 3 terrific razors! Congrats!
The chrome plating holds up really well on the Micromatics. I have a Bullet Tip MM that I'm sure had to have been used at some point, but it looks brand spanking new. You have some terrific shaves ahead of you!

That's one heck of a vacation! Congratulations!

And one I’ve wanted for a long time. One of those at least semi Grail razors.

Gillette’s first TTO, the 1934 Aristocrat. I know it was used, as the blades are aftermarket, but other than that it’s hard to tell. Definitely NOT cleaning this one!

A boy and his first Aristocrat. It’s a beautiful thing.

Well done that Aristocrat is a thing of pride!
