Tackar!!!Ha Thomas, no ‘maybe’ in that statement And this is a perfect example. Grattis Jocke!!!
I told myself that I was going to limit my TTO collection to Super Speeds but here is my first Aristocrat. I guess it called to me.

I have already decided that I need to try one with an open comb. Another rabbit hole!Nice, be prepared for more Aristos to follow, hehe!
Beautiful Aristocrat. Thanks for sharing the photo. I have a 1936 Aristocrat (open comb), which has a case that looks a lot like yours. I love the combination of TTO and open comb. May be my favorite razor. You should definitely go for an open comb Aristocrat.I told myself that I was going to limit my TTO collection to Super Speeds but here is my first Aristocrat. Way to go, Peter!A worthwhile evening on the bay Won these 2 sets - a gorgeous Le Coq set with a cute model I never saw before - and in superb condition. If anyone has more intel on this model I would be most happy!
And on top a 3rd generation Gillette Aristocrat #15 set won much cheaper than feared. The case is very poor on the inside but I was only after the razor for my rare French case. The French set is a matched set which was only sold in the French market sometime in the 1950s or maybe even early 1960s - it will look like the last pic (my case with one of my other 3rd generation razors).
Happy shaves!

Lovely LeCoq. Only intel I have is if the caged head is 10 on the efficiency scale, then the safety bar model is 11.
