Rust on Tech

Just received a Tech in the Post today.There are small amounts of rust on the underside of the cap along the bar in the middle and tiny specks of rust on the 4 corners of the base. I have removed most of it but some remains, is it safe to use?

Unless you're planning on actually using the base or cap as your cutting tool, it's fine to use it. Remember, it's just the blade itself that actually does the cutting.

That's what I was thinking but I thought it best to ask anyway.

You can most likely remove any old rusty blade marks with toothpaste and an old toothbrush.
