Well, looking at a Rooney brush, super silvertip (the grade below Finest). Anybody have experience on how they feel, splay or don't splay, fan out or not fan out, and can compare one to say SMF1, a Chubby2 in best or Shavemac XXL?

I have a small # 3 in that grade , I can make a mountain of lather with cream or a cake. It is not as soft as my shavemac silvertip- but is a bit less expensive than the Shavemac,The rooney is by no means scrubby. I use this one as my travel brush as well. Well made and a good value.
