Rooney Shedding Every Shave for 4 Months...Did I Get A Bad One?

Had my Rooney for 4 months and its still shedding at least 2 hairs every shave since I got it. Do I have a bad one?

I've never had a brush do this before so I'm concerned.

The vendor has already been contacted and has agreed to inspect it if I send it back.

Is it a 1/1? I had problems with my first one and got a replacement....

Yes, but I would assume this could happen with any model...

True, but I think there may have been a bad batch of the 1/1s... unless the posts (there have been quite a few of these posts a few months back) were skewed that way since there are more 1/1s than other models perhaps.

This can happen with any manufacturer...I would recommend contacting the vendor directly...my main problem with Rooney is that there's no manufacturer to contact directly...you have no choice but to go through the vendor. The saving grace here has been the exceptional vendor support that we can draw upon...

This is probably the primary reason why I've slowly gravitated to Simpsons...

That's not a well made brush. If I were you I'd contact the vendor and get a replacement. I have unfortunately had the same experience with a Rooney.

A few hairs for the first few weeks is common but after 4 months, the shedding should be minimal, perhaps one or two a week. I think a replacement is in order.
