I think they're awesome. Expecially the black/white zebra and the orange candy swirl.
This is why one seldom sees a bearded clown. Yikes!

That is what I was thinking -- these would have sold in 1968-1972. Now, not so much.

Trust they will be "limited" by the lack of buyers, or in the alternative by the (repeat "limited") tastes of those that will .. then 20/30/40 years down the road they will be highly sought after because nobody in this life would buy them.

I think this is a somewhat divisive issue - either you love it or you hate it.
Why not? A lot of the vintage ever-ready "Marbles" looked similar to this new. There was a thread where someone sanded a green marble one. It was like a milky/neon teal swirl originally.
Yeah I agree with everyone, I feel as if I'm going to get cavities if I stare long enough at those brushes.
